In early July, the OSI conference planning committee identified 225 leaders from 15 different stakeholder groups who should attend the inaugural meeting of the Open Scholarship Initiative in April of 2016. To-date, 168 delegates have committed—about 75 percent. The committee’s goal is to reach the remaining delegates by early October, at which point working groups will be created and delegates can begin preparing and working together online prior to the conference.
